The Pioneer Library System Foundation supports literacy and a love of learning throughout Pioneer Library System communities.
Funds raised through individual and corporate donations as well as local, state and federal grants assist with system wide programming and services which fall beyond the scope of the regular Pioneer Library System operating budget. Programs and services the PLS Foundation actively supports include Summer Reading Programs, The Big Read, Literacy Programs, English as a Second Language and Citizenship classes, TANF, STEM, Lego programming and much, much more. All of this is possible because of support from individual and corporate donors, sponsors and granting organizations with a special love for libraries and their communities. Thank you for your continuous support of these important programs.
FocusThe Pioneer Library System Foundation, through its Board of Directors, works closely with library administrators in the planning and funding of projects that benefit library users and communities with a focus on programs and services not funded through public dollars.
