The Pioneer Library System Foundation is thrilled to host the 2nd Annual Enter Into Our Wonderland: Mad Hatter Tea Party on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lakeside Wedding Venue in Shawnee. Event chair Amanda Johnson and the committee have a fabulous evening planned featuring a delicious dinner, live entertainment, a raffle, and more!

Proceeds from the event benefit programming and services in the Pioneer Library System’s Pottawatomie County branches in McLoud, Shawnee, and Tecumseh. The following are just a few examples of past projects funded by the Foundation in Pottawatomie County:

  • McLoud Public Library – Spiritual Connections Through Native Nutrition connected the community to native culture through sustainable food and nutrition.
  • Shawnee Public Library – Provided additional touring programs, STEAM coding/robotics kits, presenters for Move with Yoga and Alpacas, and the Haunted Downtown Shawnee Tour/Author.
  • Tecumseh Public Library – Brought high-quality summer learning programming to local schools and outreach to students in Macomb and Maud.
